Leah Callahan is originally from Houston, Texas, but has called Nixa, Missouri, her
home for over 15 years. Leah and her husband Rich have three grown children, and 4
grandkids with a 5th on the way! Leah and Rich are enjoying the empty nest stage,
while also enjoying a new business adventure in Downtown Nixa.

Leah is a licensed Life and Health Insurance Advisor certified to represent all local
health plans in Missouri. Her primary emphasis at Insurance Group of the Ozarks (IGO)
is working as a Medicare Advisor. One of her greatest joys is helping individuals
transition from retirement to Medicare. She assists individuals through the complex
Medicare process as they approach age 65. Leah serves as an advocate to help clients
work through Medicare options and set up coverage.

Leah has a B.A. in Mass Communication and Sociology from Ouachita Baptist
University in Arkadelphia, AR. She has almost 17 years of experience in the Medicare
insurance industry and has worked at IGO since 2007.

Leah is currently serving on the local Care to Learn chapter. Care to Learn serves Nixa
students in need of food, clothing, school supplies, and hygiene items, and this position
is one that keeps Leah active with Nixa Public Schools and finding/developing new
ways to bring fundraising opportunities to the area to support the students. In 2018,
Leah was voted one of the top three “Trusted Advisors” in the insurance industry by the
Springfield Business Journal.

Leah’s deep faith in the Lord and her love for people inspire her passion to serve over
800 clients with dignity and respect. Medicare options can be confusing or
overwhelming, but Leah helps individuals navigate affordable options to fit their unique
needs.
