Leah Callahan is originally from Houston, Texas, but for over 13 years has called Nixa, Missouri, her home. Leah and her husband Rich have three children who graduated from Nixa schools of which all are grown.  Leah and Rich are enjoying the empty nesting stage.

Leah's primary emphasis at IGO is a Medicare Advisor and one of her greatest joys is being able to transition an individual from retirement to Medicare, as well as helping individuals through the complex learning process as one approaches age 65.  She loves to serve as an advocate who can advise them along the way to choosing and setting up Medicare coverage.

Leah has a B.A. in Mass Communication and Sociology from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. She has over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry working with the Insurance Group of the Ozarks since 2007. Leah is a licensed Life and Health Insurance Advisor with certifications to represent all local health plans in Missouri.

Leah is an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) which allows health, life, and Medicare advisors to stay current with changing health laws and serve as advocates to promote excellence in the health insurance arena.
Leah serves with local advisors and professionals who lobby members of Congress, the Administration, and state legislators on key issues related to health insurance. In 2018, she was voted one of the top three “Trusted Advisors” in the insurance industry
by the Springfield Business Journal.

Leah’s deep faith and her love for people inspire her passion to serve over 800 clients with dignity and respect. Medicare options can be confusing or overwhelming, but Leah helps individuals navigate the choices to fit unique needs with affordable options.
