It’s Pumpkin Pickin’ Time, and Open Enrollment is Here!

It’s Open Enrollment season, and for individuals with marketplace (Affordable Care Act) or private health insurance (not employer-sponsored), your enrollment runs from November 1, 2025, to January 15, 2026.

Medicare Open Enrollment, also called the Annual Election Period (AEP), is for people with Medicare. From October 15 to December 7, you can update your Medicare plan, switch your Part D drug plan, or change Medicare Advantage plans. All updates will take effect on January 1, 2026.

If you’re satisfied with your plan, no action is needed!

The good news is that if you’re happy with your current plan, you don’t need to do anything, and it will automatically roll over into 2026!

If you’re unsure about your plan’s offerings for 2026, now is a good time to talk with a trusted Health Advisor and review your providers and prescription drugs to make sure you’re on the best plan for your needs. Speaking with a trusted advisor helps ensure you know who to call if you have questions during the year. If you contact someone because of an ad, you can’t guarantee you’ll be able to reach them later to ask questions.
